Health and Medical Research Fund - Investigator-initiated Projects
The Health and Medical Research Fund invites applications for investigator-initiated research projects and health promotion projects. The closing date is 31 March 2026 (6:00 pm Hong Kong time). Results will be tentatively announced in September 2026.
Applications can be submitted via the electronic Grant Management System (eGMS) (https://rfs.healthbureau.gov.hk/eGMS/) by completing the electronic Application Form by the above deadline.

The Health Bureau now invites applications for the Research Fellowship Scheme under the Health and Medical Research Fund. Completed electronic application forms should be submitted via the electronic Grant Management System on or before 5 January 2026 (6:00 pm Hong Kong time). Click here for details of application. Results will be announced in June 2026 (tentative).
